Who are we?

A community empowering LGBTQ+ individuals, Allies, and businesses to drive change, celebrate diversity, support local LGBTQ+ Charities, and build meaningful connections.

What does inclusivity mean to us?

Actively creating a space where everyone feels welcome and respected, regardless of sexual orientation, gender identity, or background.

Why is Diversity Wine Club important?

We create safe, welcoming spaces, foster belonging, educate Allies, raise funds for vital LGBTQ+ Charities, and empower individuals to drive change.

What is our vision for the future?

A world where everyone feels empowered, diversity is celebrated, and LGBTQ+ communities thrive.

Are we a 501c3?

No. We are an Indiana based Limited Liability Company owned by Bob Day.

Are we political?

No. We focus on community building and supporting local Charities through social connection.

What kind of events do you host?

We offer a variety of events throughout Indianapolis, including wine tastings, social mixers, and volunteering opportunities. Check our Events page for details.

How do I find out about events?

Sign up to receive an INVITE for all wine events. You can also follow our social media channels for updates.

Are your events ticketed?

Yes. Your ticket supports our events and our mission of supporting local LGBTQ+ Charities through our Charity Partnership program.

I'm new. Are your events welcoming?

Absolutely! We create a comfortable atmosphere with easy introductions and a friendly group of Guests.

What's the age requirement?

You must be 21 or older to attend our events.

What is the code of conduct?

Respect is key! Disruptive or disrespectful behavior is not allowed. We strive to be Intentionally Welcoming to all Guests.

Photos & Volunteering

Information on privacy and how to get involved.

Might my photo be used for promotion?

Yes, by attending our events, you consent to your image potentially being used in photos or videos for promotional purposes.

Can I choose not to be photographed?

Absolutely! If you prefer not to have your picture taken, please let our event photographer know, and they will do their best to honor your request.

How can I volunteer?

We'd love your help! Please fill out our volunteer form on our Volunteers page, and we'll contact you to find the right fit.

Do I need special skills to volunteer?

Not at all! We welcome all skills and backgrounds. Enthusiasm and support for our values matter most.

What types of roles are available?

We need help with everything from event planning and setup to social media, photography, and welcoming Guests.

Can I volunteer behind the scenes?

Absolutely! We have roles for tech-savvy folks, writers, organizers, and more. There is a place for everyone.

Sponsors & Hosting

How businesses and individuals can support the club.

Why should my business sponsor DWC?

Sponsorship demonstrates your commitment to diversity, allows you to reach an engaged audience, and helps drive positive change for the LGBTQ+ community.

What are my responsibilities as a Host?

Provide a clean space, ensure ample parking, and supply ice. We handle the rest!

Do I need to provide food?

No, the club provides the food. Guests typically bring a bottle of wine to share, though some choose to "Pitch In" with a homemade dish instead.

How many Guests will attend?

We cap attendance and sell tickets, so you will always know your expected headcount well in advance.

What does the club provide?

We bring all the basic supplies like plates and glasses, and our volunteers assist on-site to ensure a smooth event.
